balitribune.co.id | Semarapura – For the umpteenth time, the Klungkung Police are again aggressively carrying out the second Covid-19 vaccination activity. A total of 50 people, consisting of people aged 18-60 years in the Semarapura Kangin Village area, Klungkung Sunday (22/08/2021) underwent vaccination. “This morning there were 50 people carrying out the second vaccine for the general public,” said the Head of the Vaccination Task Force, Kompol I Gede Mustika, S.H.
The vaccinator team of the Klungkung Police carried out the Covid-19 vaccination to a number of residents, where before the injection the vaccine recipients were screened first for the vaccine recipients by checking their body temperature and blood pressure if they met the requirements of the vaccinator team to inject the vaccine.
Klungkung Police Chief AKBP I Made Dhanuardana, S.I.K.M.H., stated that the vaccine booth was established as an effort to accelerate the handling of preventing the spread of Covid-19 in order to realize Herd Immunity or group immunity against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. “I advise that even though the vaccine has been carried out, the community must still be disciplined in implementing the 5M health protocol, hopefully with this acceleration of vaccination it will soon form herd immunity so that the Covid-19 pandemic can be immediately controlled,” said Police Chief AKBP I Made Dhanuardana, S.I.K.
