IDNAround – Coldplay adds the sixth and final date of the Singapore concert in 2024 following overwhelming demand as all five-day tickets sold out within a few hours. The British pop ban was originally slated to perform on January 23, 24, 26, and 27, 2024.
The event organizer Live Nation on Monday announced one more day show on January 30, 2024. Today, a sixth show is added for January 31, 2024.
“Tickets are selling fast! Due to the overwhelming demand for Coldplay Music Of The Spheres World Tour in Singapore, the SIXTH and FINAL DATE has been added at Singapore National Stadium on Jan. 31,” Live Nation announced via its Instagram this morning, June 20.
Coldplay concert in Singapore breaks a record
As quoted from Live Nation’s Twitter post, tickets for the sixth show sold out within two hours. This marks Coldplay as the first act ever to play six nights at Singapore’s National Stadium.
“Coldplay is now the first act ever to play six nights at Singapore’s National Stadium. We will open our waiting list shortly for updates on any additional ticket releases,” it wrote.
A lot of fans still couldn’t get Coldplay concert tickets
Although the Coldplay concert in Singapore has been set to be six days long, a lot of netizens say they haven’t got the tickets yet. “Please, we are not from Singapore but we are willing to come there! Open additional tickets, please,” said @HanbinWeLove***. Other netizens also asked Live Nation to consider adding more days.
