Kubu Raya Police Holds Press Release Successfully Reveals 50 Cases During Operation Pekat Kapuas 2021

The police chief said that the targets of the Pekat operation were seven crimes, including gambling, drugs, alcohol, injustice, prostitution, firecrackers, and sharp weapons (sajam).
“Of these seven targets, there are 14 targets assigned to the Kubu Raya Police. Alhamdulillah, from these 14 targets, Kubu Raya was able to exceed the target imposed by the West Kalimantan Regional Police, so we are in the over-achievement,” he said.
The police chief added that from the results of the Pekat operation, his party managed to uncover 50 criminal cases out of seven non-criminal crimes. Which of these seven cases, there is a target from the West Kalimantan Police that is not charged to the Kubu Raya Police, namely.
“Although we were not charged, we have succeeded in uncovering the crime. Of course, as the Head of the Kubu Raya Police, I give my appreciation and gratitude to the ranks of the Resort Police who have carried out this Concentrated operation involving 40 personnel,” he said.
He said that this press release was deliberately held, so that when welcoming the Nataru celebrations, it was hoped that the community could carry it out smoothly and with conditions that were maintained and conducive to Kamtibmas.
“From the results of Pekat’s two-week operation, the most dominant crime cases include thuggery, alcohol and gambling. Where this alcohol is ranked first out of target 4, we managed to uncover 17 cases,” he explained.
Furthermore, said the police chief for the case of thuggery from target 2, his party was able to uncover 14 cases. As for gambling, from target 4 we were able to uncover 6 cases.
“To create a conducive Kamtibmas condition ahead of the Nataru celebration, we will continue to carry out this Pekat operation by involving the ranks of the Polsek and Bhabinkamtibmas in every village,” explained the Chief of Police.
