Jakarta – The openness of information technology and freedom of expression in this era of digital democracy is utilized by a number of groups, one of which is Police Comics.
According to a number of comic-loving communities, the Police Comic is a very creative idea, where they can express bright ideas for the advancement of the Polri institution through comics. Even with Police Comics, the public can also become a critic of the Polri institution, as well as a means of educating the public about Polri’s policies that are made humanely through the media of comics.
“This is good. In our opinion, Police Comics are one of the facilities for us to express opinions. This is proof of the openness of the Police to the community. There we can appreciate, criticize and even provide input for the police through comics media,” said Wahid, a comic lover who works as a graphic designer on several digital account platforms, Saturday (27/11/2021).
Meanwhile, the Founder and CEO of Police Comics Kompol Hasby Ristama expressed his gratitude to the public and professionals who have supported the presence of Police Comics in the Indonesian comics world.
“We thank the public and professionals. Hopefully in the future Police Comics can be more advanced and contribute positively to the progress of the Polri and state institutions,” he said.
