The East Java Regional Police held different sports tournaments in 2021 to commemorate Heroes’ Day, including volleyball, field tennis, and badminton.

The sports competition will take place from November 6 to November 6, 2021, with 43 teams competing, including 39 Polres and four unified East Java Regional Police Satkers.

The East Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General. Pol. Dr. Nico Afinta Karo-Karo, S.I.K., S.H., M.H., opened the competition at the East Java Police Headquarters Precision Tennis Court prior to the commencement of the tournament.

In his remarks, the East Java Police Chief congratulated the team on successfully completing the match and urged the competitors to preserve good sportsmanship.

“Competition competitors must direct themselves in exercising three things: patience, excitement, and positive thinking. “As well as urging participants to maintain sportsmanship among players,” the East Java Regional Police Chief remarked on Monday morning (1/11/2021).

Meanwhile, the chairman of the committee claimed that the tournament was held in honor of Heroes Day in 2021.

“During the Covid-19 pandemic, this is a sort of physical development for Polri employees to preserve physical health conditions and boost the immunity of Polri members,” he explained.

The provincial police chief’s beating of Gong signaled the start of the competition. The inaugural match pitted the East Java Police volleyball team against the Magetan Police volleyball team, with the East Java Police Chief serving the first volleyball to kick off the game.
