Brigadier General Pol. Drs. Rusdi Hartono, M.Sc., Head of the National Police Public Relations Division’s Public Information Bureau, ensures that the security situation for the PON XX Papua (PON) is still safe.
TNI and Polri security troops have been providing security there until recently.
“The PON implementation is currently ongoing, and security conditions are favorable,” said Karo Penmas, the Head of the Public Information Bureau at the National Police Headquarters, on Wednesday (06/10/2021).
Security for the Papua PON has been developed, according to the Head of the Public Information Bureau, for a police operation called Operation Deraku Cartenz 2021. Everything is flowing smoothly, and the situation is favorable, as the National Police, the TNI, and other Police Partners secure the national sporting event at four different venues.
“The police operation can go smoothly,” said the Public Information Bureau’s Director.
As a result, the Head of the Public Information Bureau expects that the PON implementation in Papua goes smoothly, and we all hope that the 20th PON activities in Papua go smoothly and produce better sporting achievements in the country.
