PONTIANAK – TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo directly observed the vaccine attack in West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan) on Wednesday (8/9/2021). Vaccinations were held in two places, namely Ayani Mega Mall and SMAN 1 Pontianak.
The National Police Chief said that the government was continuing to try to suppress the growth rate of Covid-19 with various steps. For example, in terms of control, namely implementing PPKM Level 1 to 4 implementation strategies.
The former Banten Regional Police Chief reminded that several areas in West Kalimantan whose PPKM levels have fallen must continue to be balanced with the strengthening of strict health protocols (prokes). Therefore, he stressed that the decline in the PPKM level must be accompanied by an easing of community activities.

“Of course, with this slack, there is the potential to increase the rate of Covid’s growth, so inevitably the strategy implemented is how to strengthen prokes,” he continued.
On the other hand, the National Police Chief also reminded efforts to accelerate vaccination. That way people get immunity from the corona virus attack. The National Police Chief emphasized that vaccination is the key in controlling Covid-19 as well as the basic capital in coexistence with the virus.
