Bengkulu – The Bengkulu Police again carried out a vaccine-independent vaccine attack in order to enliven the 76th Republic of Indonesia’s independence day in 2021 at the Semarak Sawah Lebar Stadium yard, Bengkulu city, Friday (13/08/2021). The activity, which was initiated by the Traffic Directorate of the Bengkulu Police, targets transportation crews, online motorcycle taxis, and public transport drivers.
Bengkulu Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Drs. Guntur Setyanto, M.Si after conducting a vaccination review said that this activity was in order to maximize the vaccinations provided by the central government.
“While commemorating our Independence Day, the Traffic Directorate together with the organda initiated the vaccination. This is a form of concern and cooperation between the community and the Police to jointly quickly resolve the Covid-19 pandemic,” he explained.
Although vaccination is prioritized for bus drivers, travel and online motorcycle taxis, the committee also serves the surrounding community who want to implement the vaccine. With the high awareness of the public to implement the vaccine, the Bengkulu Police Chief hopes that all Bengkulu people can immediately have herd immunity in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
