Malut Police Distribute Basic Food Packages to Communities Affected by Covid-19

The North Maluku Police together with the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) distributed basic food packages to employees who were laid off and journalists undergoing independent isolation and the underprivileged communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Deputy of North Maluku Police, Brigadier General Pol. Drs. Eko Para Setyo Siswanto, M.Sc. said that today’s activity is very useful to help people who have not been maximally touched in the social assistance program (bansos).

“I hope the IMM Management can together with me go down directly on the road to implement health protocols and distribute social assistance in the community,” explained General Bintang Satu.

The Deputy Chief of the Malut Regional Police hopes to encourage or encourage the public to raise awareness about health protocols, especially the use of masks.

Meanwhile, in the same place, the Head of Public Relations of the North Maluku Police, Kombes Pol. Adip Rodjikan said that this time, 100 packages of social assistance were handed out to employees who were laid off or laid off and journalists who were in isolation and the poor.

“With this activity, the Head of Public Relations would like to thank and give appreciation to students who are members of IMM for their active participation and positive contributions in this assistance activity,” said Kombes Pol. Adip Rodjikan

The Head of Public Relations of the Malut Regional Police said that the distribution of basic needs for residents affected by COVID-19 during the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

About 80 packages of aid distributed can be used by the community. Polda Malut also believes that there are still many people out there who need help.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief of the North Maluku Police, Brigadier General Eko Para Setyo Siswanto said that for this time the North Maluku Police and members of the press provided food packages to people affected by COVID-19.

In addition, the Deputy Chief of Police hopes that in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, education and socialization about COVID-19 are very important, for that it is hoped that the media can also encourage or encourage the public to be aware of health protocols, especially the use of masks.
