JAKARTA –The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) Polri noted that online driving license (SIM) extension services or the National Precision SIM (SINAR) had been accessed by 12,456 registrants during the period April 13 to May 16, 2021.
“The number of SINAR registrants has been 12,456 from April 13 to May 16, this number continues to increase,” said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General of Police Argo Yuwono, in his statement, in Jakarta, Wednesday (19/5/2021).
Argo said, SINAR is an innovation formed by Korlantas Polri in supporting 16 priority programs for 100 working days of National Police Chief, General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
This application is here to minimize public complaints regarding Polri services. SINAR is in 12 regional police. Apart from SINAR, there are also other information technology-based police services, namely the online STNK application at 16 regional police offices.
Furthermore, the Lakalantas application is only in two regional police, and the application for enforcement of violations is in six regional police. “These applications are the basis and initial milestones that will be developed in 34 regional police offices,” said Argo.
Argo explained, since the Presisi National SIM application was launched, 9,141 SIMs have been produced, including the transfer of non-tax state revenue (PNPB).
During the period April 13 to May 16, PNBP from the SIM A extension is IDR 265,600,000. Likewise for PNPB extension of SIM C amounting to Rp436,575,000.
“We have also sent PNPB reports to the state treasury, both for the extension of SIM A and SIM C,” said Argo.
The presence of the Presisi National SIM (SINAR) application is an alternative for the public in accessing police services in matters of SIM extension.
This application minimizes the practice of brokers, while reducing the physical interaction of the community with members in the field. Simply accessed from home via smartphone.
The Precision National SIM is available in the Korlantas Polri Digital application. However, the public can also access SIM extension services conventionally by coming directly to the police station.
Within 100 working days of the National Police Chief General Pol Listyo Sigit Pravowo, the divisions in the Bhayangkara Corps including the regional police and police levels made fast, easy and scalable public services based on application technology.
“There is an online international SIM application, an online SIM theory exam application. At Bareskrim there are also online SP2HP, cyber patrol applications, Dumas Presisi at Itwasun, and Propam Presisi in the Police Propam Division, “said Argo.
