East Java Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta and East Java Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo, accompanied by the East Java Police’s Main Official (PJU), held a ceremony and thanksgiving on Sunday (14/11/2021) to commemorate the 76th Anniversary of Brimob in 2021, titled “Trained, Resilient, and Responsive.” This event took place in the East Java Police Headquarters’ Rupatama Building.
The National Police Chief, General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, imparted various mandates during the thanksgiving activity, which is a virtual reconnection with the National Police Headquarters and the ranks of the Indonesian Regional Police:

According to Listyo, the Special Police ‘Tokubetsu Keisatsu Tai’ served as a forerunner to Brimob by engaging in the war against the invaders during the colonial period and after the Republic of Indonesia’s independence.
“At the moment, Brimob is assisting in operations to combat terrorism and separatism in Ops Nemangkawi and Tinombala, as well as helping to maintain a safe and secure environment,” he stated.
He went on to say that the WSBK in Mandalika will confront future challenges, both on an international and national scale. The Indonesia Open badminton tournament in Bali, as well as a series of G20 Summits in Bali in 2022, will undoubtedly shape Indonesia’s image around the world.
He went on to say, “Enhance our piety in carrying out our tasks, intend our duties as acts of devotion, increase our zeal in the duty of keeping public order and safeguarding the honor of our Polri institution.”
After listening to the Chief of Police’s directive. The celebration proceeded with a meeting between the Chief of Police, the Madago Raya task force, and the Brimob FPU Task Force. The Mobile Brigade Commander delivered a speech after that.
“The Police Mobile Brigade Corps is part of a police force that is loyal and upright to the Unitary Republic of Indonesia and its leaders,” Dankor Brimob remarked.
The Chief of Police presented medals to members of the Brimob Police Corps who had performed exceptionally well.
The program was concluded with a parade of the East Java Police Chief and Deputy Chief cutting the cone, which was presented to the outstanding members of the Satbrimob Polda East Java.
