The Governor of Bengkulu, Dr. H. Rohidin Mersyah, and Bengkulu Police Chief Inspector General Pol Drs. Guntur Setyanto, M.Sc., monitor the implementation of tax compliance enforcement held by the Combined TNI – Polri Personnel and Jasa Raharja at Simpang 4 Nakau, Bengkulu City, on Thursday (11/04/21).

When questioned by the media, the Bengkulu Police Chief stated that the control exercised was his duty and responsibility in assisting and assisting the local government in increasing its major taxes.

“We have the Dikmas obligation then,” stated the Bengkulu Police Chief, “and we have started to watch these symptoms from our survey and there are already some people who ignore the responsibility of traffic for themselves and others on the roadway.”

According to the Bengkulu Police Chief, the control would be carried out fully in all districts/cities in Bengkulu Province in order to promote public compliance in traffic and to make people more orderly drivers on the highway, resulting in order and ethics in traffic in Bengkulu Province.

“We are glad that the number of accidents has fallen more than previous year; an evaluation will be conducted later this year,” said Bengkulu Police Chief.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Bengkulu Province stated that this time, controlling compliance was critical in order to boost the province’s PAD.

“We have announced a policy that we provide relief, meaning merely paying the principal and waiving fines, for the delays that frequently arise relating to taxes,” stated Bengkulu Governor.

Regarding the control that was carried out this time, the Governor of Bengkulu praised the Bengkulu Police for assisting and assisting the local government in creating order and public comfort in traffic, which will result in an increase in PAD.

“We don’t just punish those who break the law; we also reward people who keep the peace by awarding mementos,” the Governor of Bengkulu said.

Compliance check operations will be carried out for the next three days based on the data acquired.
