During the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), the very difficult needs of the community certainly had an impact on daily life.
This can be seen from the synergy between the TNI and POLRI in delivering basic food assistance to communities affected by PPKM, especially to the stinging community, on Friday (06/08/2021).
A total of about 80 food packages were handed over to the people of the island of Stinging by the Indonesian National Police, in this case, the Tanjungpinang City Police and Babinpotmar Lantamal IV.
Tanjungpinang Police Chief AKBP Fernando, SH, SIK through Tanjungpinang City Police Chief AKP M Arsha, accompanied by Tanjungpinang City Police Deputy Chief IPTU Alimin, explained that this assistance was given to residents of Penyengat Island.
“As many as 80 packages we are giving today to people who are affected at this time, we hope to ease the burden of the community’s needs,” he said.
The distribution was carried out door to door while at the same time urging people to stay at home and maintain their health, and do not forget to continue to implement health protocols so that the spread of Covid-19 can be avoided.
“I also urge the public to continue to maintain health, maintain health protocols, wear masks, wash their hands and avoid crowds in order to break the chain of spread of Covid 19,” concluded the Deputy Chief of Police. (r)
