IDNAround – The Indonesia Open 2023 badminton tournament is set to be hosted at Istora Senayan in Jakarta from June 13 to June 18. The Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI) announced that the annual tournament’s ticket sales will be offered starting on Wednesday, May 24.
“Tickets will be sold through the PBSI.id official website where fans can directly access it,” said Organizing Committee Chair Armand Darmadji in Tuesday’s virtual press conference.
Tickets will be categorized into three variants comprising of Category 1, Category 2, and VIP, and will also be offered offline during the day of the tournaments.
Offline tickets will consist of 10 percent of Istora Senayan’s maximum seating capacity of 6,000 seats.
Category 2 tickets are sold at a range of Rp125,000 – Rp550,000 (online presale for the latter) while offline tickets will range from Rp150,000 – Rp600,000.
Category 1 tickets are sold ranging from Rp175,000 up to Rp750,000 while the VIP seats for the 2023 Indonesia Open badminton tournament range from Rp250,000 up to Rp2 million.
The Indonesia Open 2023 will certainly attract more fans than the Indonesia Masters in January. The world’s top badminton players, several of whom were absent from the Indonesia Masters, are confirmed to be present at the Indonesia Open due to regulation by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) which requires the presence of players who are ranked in the Top 15 for singles and Top 10 for doubles.
