Jakarta – The level of public satisfaction with the performance of the National Police under the leadership of the National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo is rated higher than eight other high state institutions. These results are based on a survey conducted by Politica Research and Consulting (PRC) and Indonesian Political Parameters (PPI).
The survey was conducted from November 12 to December 4, 2021. In the survey, the TNI institution took the first position with a figure of 75.4%. Polri is in second place with a confidence level of 67.8%.
Then the third place is the KPK with 60.4%, the fourth position is the Supreme Court (MA) 51.9%, the Constitutional Court (MK) 51.9%, the Attorney General’s Office 50.4%, the DPD 47.7% and the MPR 47.4%.
In the survey, the DPR is in the last position with the lowest level of satisfaction or public trust, which is 44.1%.
“The TNI has always been given the highest trust by the community. However, here what is different is that the National Police can precede its ranking compared to the KPK,” said PRC Executive Recruit Rio Prayogo in Jakarta, Monday (27/12/2021).
He explained that the survey involved 1,600 respondents aged at least 17 years spread proportionally in 34 provinces who were interviewed face to face. Sampling in this study used a multistage random sampling method.
Charta Politica Indonesia previously released a survey of the level of trust in high state institutions. As a result, trust in the president is the highest, followed by the TNI and Polri.
This survey was conducted during 29 November-6 December 2021. A total of 1,200 respondents aged 17 years and over or met the election requirements. This survey was conducted face-to-face interviews and the margin of error was +-2.83% at the 95% confidence level.
“The highest number one is in the President, so if you want to add up it is 77.8%. Around 74.6% of the second level of confidence, this is always an overtaking race between the President and the TNI after the reform, the TNI at the second level is 76.3%,” said Executive Director of Charta Politica Indonesia Yunarto Wijaya in a virtual survey release, Monday (20/20). /12-2021).
He revealed that the third position, namely Polri, was followed by the fourth position of the KPK.
“The third is the National Police with a figure of 66.8%. And then followed, somewhat competing with the KPK, but this is a pattern that I think is quite interesting,” he said.
