The National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, issued a telegram containing the mutations of hundreds of middle and high-ranking officers. In this mutation, 7 regional police chiefs (kapolda) were replaced.
Saturday (18/12/2021), the 7 regional police chiefs were replaced, namely Bengkulu, Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Kalimantan (Kaltim), West Kalimantan (Kalbar) and Riau. The telegram numbered ST/2568/XII/KEP.2021 was signed by the HR Assistant of the National Police Chief, Inspector General Wahyu Widada on Friday (17/12).
“Yes, that’s right,” said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed about this telegram.
Inspector General Refdi Andri was transferred in the context of retiring from the position of the Maluku Police Chief, to become a high-ranking member of the Indonesian National Police’s expert staff. Instead, Inspector General Lotharia Latif was transferred from the position of Kapolda NTT to Kapolda Maluku.
The position of the NTT Police Chief was given to Brigadier General Setyo Budiyanto. Furthermore, Inspector General Herry Rudolf Nahak was transferred from the position of Kapolda Kaltim to become Kasespim Lemdiklat Polri.
The position of Kapolda Kaltim was given to Inspector General Imam Sugianto, who previously served as Assistant Chief of the National Police. Instead, Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi was transferred from the position of Riau Police Chief to Assistant Chief of Police.
Then Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal was transferred from the position of Kapolda NTB to Kapolda Riau. The position of NTB Regional Police Chief was given to Brigadier General Djoko Poerwanto, who previously served as Director of Corruption Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Department.
Then Inspector General Remigius Sigid Tri Hardjanto was transferred from the position of the Head of the West Kalimantan Police to the Head of the Legal Division of the Police. The position of West Kalimantan Police Chief was given to Inspector General Suryanbodo Asmoro.
Finally, Inspector General Guntur Setyanto was transferred from the position of Bengkulu Police Chief in order to retire. His position was replaced by Inspector General Agung Wicaksono, who previously served as Wairwasum of the Police.
