Jakarta – National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated 44 former KPK employees on World Anti-Corruption Day on Thursday 9 December 2021.
The National Police Chief hopes that 44 former employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) can contribute to strengthening the Bhayangkara Corps organization in eradicating corruption.
The National Police Chief will also change the Directorate of Corruption Crimes (Dittipikor) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police to become the Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas).
Quoted from Suara.com, Listyo conveyed this shortly after inaugurating Novel Baswedan and 43 former employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as state civil servants or ASN Polri.
“In the future, we are currently making changes to Dittipikor. We will (change) it to be the Kortas Corruption Eradication Committee,” Listyo said at the National Police Headquarters, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Thursday (9/12/2021).
The Kortas Tipikor, said Listyo, will later be filled by several divisions. Starting from the division of prosecution, to prevention.
“In it stand complete divisions ranging from prevention of cooperation to prosecution,” he said.
