Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya has given an ultimatum to the field coordinator (korlap) for the Youth Pancasila (PP) demonstration at the DPR RI Building which ended in Ricuh. PP management also admitted that they are ready to follow the legal process.
The head of the Pancasila Youth Legal Counseling and Defending Agency Razman Arif Nasution said that so far his party did not know who was the coordinator of the PP demonstration on Thursday (25/11) which ended in chaos. However, the management admitted that they would help the police to find the coordinator of the demonstration.
“I haven’t got the exact data on who is the corruptor, but what is certain is that the commander ordered me to find out who the corruptor was,” Razman told reporters at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Friday (26/11) night.
According to Razman, the PP demo in front of the DPR RI Building on Thursday (25/11) which ended in chaos was not necessarily the fault of the coordinator of the demonstration. He asked the police to be fair in the process of investigating the rioting.
“Corlap is not something wrong. If something happens, it’s not necessarily his fault. If you have instructions like this, there is a turn, the wrong one is picking up, “explained Razman.
Furthermore, Razman said the PP would cooperate and follow the legal process of the investigation being carried out by the police.
“We are not an inch away from being afraid of this effort. We will be held accountable,” he said.
Polda Metro Jaya continues to investigate the case of the Pemuda Pancasila (PP) demonstration which ended in chaos. The field coordinator (korlap) for the demonstration was immediately investigated.
“We’ll call right away. Of course it has been scheduled by investigators,” said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E Zulpan at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday (26/11).
Zulpan has not disclosed when the coordinator of the PP demo field which ended in chaos will be called. He only said that the investigation into the korlap was carried out to ask for accountability for the demonstration that ended in chaos.
“Our person in charge will ask for accountability, say the field coordinator who asked for permission for the activity,” said Zulpan.
He asked the coordinator of the PP demo on Thursday (25/11) at the DPR RI to be cooperative. The police have also given an ultimatum to pick up the korlap if they do not attend the summons for a police investigation.
“Of course the Metro Police will call. If not present, we will pick up the person concerned,” said Zulpan.
