Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., the National Police Chief General of Police, noted that the momentum of the Heroes Day commemoration on November 10 is now fighting for Indonesia to rise and move on from the Covid-19 Pandemic.
According to the National Police Chief, Hero’s Day, which honours independence warriors against invaders, his spirit must be emulated by all future generations of the nation today in the face of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
“The spirit of the nation’s prior heroes of struggle must be carried on by the next generation of Indonesians. We must trust that by battling and uniting, Indonesia can soon rise in the face of the Covid-19 Pandemic “Jakarta, Wednesday (Wednesday). 10/11), noted the National Police Chief in a written statement.
In the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, Indonesia’s economy was impacted, according to the National Police Chief. However, Indonesia has risen from this difficulty, according to the National Police Chief, with the spirit of unity and integrity of all aspects of the nation.
All of this, said the National Police Chief, is owed to all stakeholders who worked with the government to combat the Covid-19 Pandemic. As a result, Indonesia is currently ranked #1 in Southeast Asia in terms of slowing Covid-19’s growth rate.
“All challenges and barriers can be conquered together with the fighters and heroes present in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic. This gives us more hope that we will be able to defeat the corona virus “said Banten’s former police chief.
The National Police Chief also noted that this optimism strengthens and persuades the foreign community that Indonesia is capable of conducting national and international activities while maintaining security and health standards. The Indonesian economy will undoubtedly benefit from this.
In the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the former Police Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit, on the other side, believes that all Indonesians can become heroes today. Taking an active role in handling and controlling Covid-19 demonstrates this.
“By working together and hand in hand in addressing and controlling the Covid-19 pandemic, all individuals today can become heroes for Indonesia,” remarked the National Police Chief.
The National Police Chief also extended gratitude to health workers, TNI, Polri, volunteers, and all other members of society who are continuing to battle Covid-19 in the front lines. They are the current Heroes, according to the National Police Chief.
“Thank you to all of the health workers, TNI, Polri, volunteers, students, and other stakeholders who helped to contain the Covid-19 outbreak. You are the national heroes of today, “According to the National Police Chief,
In light of this, the National Police Chief urged all Indonesians to continue to respect the sacrifices of the heroes who came before them and liberated the country. The National Police Chief echoed the words of the nation’s founder, Soekarno, who said, “Never forget history.”
“We must not forget to continue to guide the heroes’ character by battling for Indonesia in all domains,” the National Police Chief added.
