The Profession and Security Section (Sipropam) of the Parepare Police recently promoted the Precision Propam application in the Parepare Police Traffic Unit Service Room.
This application is a follow-up to the Dumas Presisi application which was created by the Professional and Security Division (Divpropam) of the National Police as a means of complaints from police officers and civil servants in the National Police unit so that they can report more quickly, easily, transparently, accountable and informatively.
The Head of Propam for the Parepare Police, Ipda Kisman, explained that the purpose of this socialization was to provide an overview in making it easier for the public to report violations by police officers in the field.
“We provide an overview to the public on how to make reports on the behavior of the police press in the field,” he explained accompanied by a number of his personnel, Thursday (21/10/2021).
He further explained that the public can download the Propam Precision application through the Playstore (Android) and Appstore (iOS). With this Precision Propam application, it is hoped that it can control the behavior of Polri personnel, especially the Parepare Police. So that in carrying out services to the community, it does not conflict with the code of ethics and disciplinary regulations of members of the Police.
“We urge the entire community to play an active role in reporting through the ‘Precision Propam Application’ if there are members of the Police who have the potential to violate the code of ethics and disciplinary regulations of Polri members,” hoped Ipda Kisman.
At the launching of the Precision Propam program, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, said that the Precision Propam program was a form of Polri’s transparency. He believes that the Presisi Propam application will increase public complaints regarding the performance of members in the field.
