National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo opened the door for the public to give opinions or criticisms of Bhayangkara’s body creations as part of a mural art festival or competition organized by the National Police Headquarters.
“This mural competition was held with one of the objectives of providing a forum for freedom of expression for the community, so that the next mural competition participants can produce works of art in the form of police criticism, both positive and negative, it doesn’t matter,” said Listyo, Wednesday (20/20). 10/2021).
Listyo said candidates are encouraged to express all forms of expression and views on Bhayangkara’s body, because the National Police is not an anti-institutional criticism and defender of freedom of expression in the democratic system adopted by Indonesia.
“Police will never be anti-critic. We will welcome all constructive contributions to be used as material for soul-searching so that they will become better in the future,” he said.
Listyo expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the people who have given constructive criticism to the Polri institution. The spirit of anti-criticism has been ignited since Listyo introduced the concepts of predictability, accountability, and fair transparency (Precision) in the National Police. born from the spirit of change for the better from the police institution.
“The initial enthusiasm to realize the Precision concept to create a strong yet humanist police force still exists today. In the process of improvement, of course there are dynamics that develop. Therefore, all reviews and contributions will be used as evaluation material for the National Police, in a more professional and even better manner,” he said.
The 2021 National Police Chiefs Cup mural art festival or competition will be held at Bhayangkara Square on October 30. Registration for the competition is open from September 27 to October 17 in the Regional Police Prefecture and until October 20, 2021 in the National Police Prefecture.
