TULUNGAGUNG – In order to accelerate vaccination, Tulungagung Police collaborated with RS. Bhayangkara Tulungagung and Sidokkes Polres Tulungagung held vaccinations for the elderly and the general public at the Tapan Village Hall, Kedungwaru District, Tulungagung.
Tulungagung Police Chief AKBP Handono Subiakto, SH, SIK, MM through Kasihumas Polres Iptu Nenny Sasongko said the vaccination activity today is a program from the Government.
“Hopefully this vaccination step will be able to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Tulungagung Regency and accelerate herd immunity,” explained Iptu Nenny, Friday (10/15/2021).

“Participants who were given vaccine injections were 438 people and 12 people did not pass because of high blood pressure,” said Iptu Nenny.
Meanwhile, the Kedungwaru Police Chief AKP Siswanto, SH, MM, said that for the safety and smooth running of the Covid-19 vaccination activity, the Kedungwaru Police sent a number of personnel.
“This security aims to prevent security disturbances, as well as anticipate the occurrence of crowds to prevent the spread of Covid-19,” explained AKP Siswanto
Vaccination security is not only held at the Tapan Village Hall, but also at the Plandaan Village Hall, Kedungwaru District.
“There are 392 residents of Plandaan Village who have been vaccinated, while the vaccinator is from Simo Health Center,” explained the Sector Police Chief.
For the technical implementation of vaccination, which includes, registration, measurement of blood pressure, health screening, vaccine injection and observation after vaccine for ± 30 minutes.
AKP Siswanto invites people who have not been vaccinated to immediately get vaccinated by visiting the nearest vaccine outlets such as those that have been held in every Puskesmas, TNI vaccine outlets and Polri Vaccine outlets.
