The Banten Traffic Traffic Police will prohibit motorcyclists from socializing while driving on the highway. This was conveyed by the Director of Lantas Polda Banten, Kombes Pol. Rudy Purnomo, who said that apart from obeying traffic rules, there are several things that motorcycle riders should not do while driving.
Dirlantas Polda Banten explained, the prohibition is regulated in Law No. RI. Article 22, Article 283 of 2009, combined with Article 106 paragraph 1, stipulates that every person driving a motorized vehicle on the road must drive a motorized vehicle in a reasonable and intensive manner.
“For motorized vehicles, apart from obeying traffic regulations, there are some activities that should not be done while driving. In addition, according to Law No. 10, motorcycle riders are prohibited from smoking while driving, because it will affect concentration and endanger other motorists.
