Purbalingga Police – In order to welcome the 66th Bhayangkara Traffic Day in 2021, the Purbalingga Police Traffic Unit held a social service activity (baksos), Tuesday (21/9/2021) afternoon. Baksos is carried out by distributing basic food assistance to residents affected by Covid-19.
Head of Traffic Police of Purbalingga AKP Rizky Widyo Pratomo said that in a series of activities for the birthday of the traffic police, we carried out social service activities. Distributed assistance in the form of basic necessities for underprivileged people affected by Covid-19.
“Our assistance is distributed by mobile using motorbikes so that we can reach directly to the homes of these underprivileged people,” he explained.
Kasat Lalu added that the hope of this activity was to ease the burden on the poor. Especially for those who are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic like now.
“Hopefully, this assistance that we provide can be useful for people in need,” he concluded.
From the data on the implementation of social assistance, it was handed over to 20 underprivileged people. They are residents around the Satlantas office and residents of Penambongan Village. During the activity, free masks were also distributed to the community around the social service location.
The recipient of the aid named Sarti, a resident of Penambongan, said he was happy to receive basic food assistance from the Purbalingga Police Traffic Unit. He said the assistance was very beneficial for his family.
“Alhamdulillah, today Rizki was given to me and my family. Thank you, this is very useful,” he said.
Another resident named Sartinah also expressed her gratitude for the assistance provided. With this assistance, according to him, it can ease the burden of daily needs.
“Thank you for the assistance given, it can ease the burden of our daily needs,” he said.
