Central Java Police | The Traffic Directorate of the Central Java Police held the first stage of vaccination for online angkot and motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers at the former Wonderia Semarang recreational park, Saturday (18/9/2021).

The vaccination activity was held to commemorate the 66th Anniversary of Traffic Bhayangkara in 2021.

Dirlantas Polda Central Java, Kombes Pol Rudy Syafiruddin said this vaccination activity was carried out for the second time, in commemorating the anniversary of Bhayangkara traffic this year.

Previously, the ranks of the Ditlantas Polda Central Java had held a series of social services to places affected by COVID-19, and visited retired Polri officers.

“Today we are holding a special mass vaccination for angkot drivers and motorcycle taxi drivers,” said the Traffic Director.

According to Dirlantas, this activity was carried out simultaneously throughout Central Java with a total of 28,300 doses of vaccine given. It is planned that this mass vaccination will be held for 1 week.

“Thank God the driver’s enthusiasm is very much. We will accept inputs and try to carry out the next activity,” he said.

Kombes Rudy said the next stage is the temple’s obedient operation which will be held for 14 days from Monday (20/9/2021) to Sunday (3/10/2021).

“In the obedient operation of the temple, there are no actions, fines, and things that are detrimental to the community,” said Kombes Rudy.

Kombes Rudy hopes that, even though there is no action during the pandemic, people will still obey and obey traffic rules.

In carrying out the temple obedient operation, members of the traffic police (Polantas) only provide education and warnings sympathetically to the community.

“Our target is that people feel comfortable, road users feel comfortable driving,” he hoped.

Dirlantas does not want that during the implementation of temple observance operations, police officers can provide a commendable example and sympathetic service to road users throughout Central Java.

“This applies throughout Central Java, not only in the city of Semarang. Not only at the Polda level but also at every Polres,” he said.
