The Social Assistance (Bansos) is intended for the underprivileged Dumai City Community and Communities Affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic in the Dumai City Region with a total of 5 tons of rice and 363 affected food packages.
As for a number of parties who participated, both morally and materially in Dumai Sharing Social Service activities, namely PT. Pertamina RU II Dumai, BRI Dumai Branch, Bank Mandiri Dumai Area, PT. Energi Unggul Perkasa, PT. KLK, Dumai Regional Banking Consultative Body (BMPD), Dumai Police Traffic Unit, Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), Dumai City KNPI, Dumai City Solidarity Community 234 and the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI) Dumai City.
The Mayor of Dumai on this occasion thanked the Dumai Police Chief and his staff for their initiation along with a number of parties who had participated in the Dumai Sharing Social Service.
“This is a blessing on Friday. Thank you to all parties who participated together to ease the burden on the community affected by the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Dumai Mayor H. Paisal, SKM, MARS.
Even though the current pandemic situation in Dumai City has begun to decline, the Mayor of Dumai continued, the Health Protocol to Prevent Covid-19 must still be implemented by the entire community in carrying out daily activities.

Meanwhile, the Dumai Police Chief, AKBP Mohammad Kholid, S.I.K. hopes that the assistance provided through Dumai Sharing Social Service activities can be useful for the underprivileged Dumai City Community and Communities Affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic in the Dumai City Region.
“Hopefully this assistance can be useful and be able to ease the burden on the people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially the underprivileged in the jurisdiction of the Dumai Police,” hoped AKBP Mohammad Kholid, S.I.K.
The activity began with the symbolic handing over of the Social Service Assistance Package by the Dumai Police Chief and the Dumai Mayor to the Head of the Dumai Police Traffic Unit and the Dumai Police Headquarters. Then it was continued with the release of the Dumai Police Service Vehicle Group and the Ranking Police who brought Social Service assistance to be distributed evenly to all sub-districts throughout Dumai City.
It didn’t stop there, the Dumai Police Chief AKBP Mohammad Kholid, S.I.K together with Dumai Mayor H. Paisal, SKM, MARS along with a number of participant representatives went straight to a number of houses of residents who were entitled to receive assistance in Bukit Datuk Village and Bumi Ayu Village by riding a classic vespa.
After handing over the aid, the Dumai Police Chief together with the Mayor of Dumai and his entourage reviewed the implementation of the 1,000 Vaccine Movement Phases 1 & 2 at the Riau Malay Traditional Institute (LAMR) Building, Dumai City, Jalan Puteri Tujuh, Teluk Binjai Village, Dumai Timur District, which was sponsored by LAMR Dumai City together with the City Health Office.
