PRIGEN – Bidhumas Polda Jatim together with representatives of journalists distributed a total of 1000 packages of basic necessities which were distributed in several areas, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik and Pasuruan. The distribution of basic food packages is done door to door.
The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Pol. Gatot Repli Handoko, said that for the distribution of basic necessities in Prigen Pasuruan, his party cooperated with the Prigen Village.
“Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Gresik we distribute them door to door. Especially for Pasuruan, we are working with Prigen Village. The distribution technique is regulated by the Prigen Village and Prigen Police. As a sign, we are only ceremoniously distributing it to some representatives of the residents who are presented in Prigen Village,” explained the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Pol. Gatot Repli Handoko, Saturday (11/9/2021).
Kombes Gatot hopes that the basic food packages that have been received by residents can reduce the burden during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We hope that this little assistance can help reduce the burden on the community during the pandemic,” explained Gatot.
The officer with three jasmines on his shoulders advised the public to remain enthusiastic in facing the current conditions. Stay disciplined with strict health protocols and don’t be afraid of vaccines.
“This vaccine is very important to protect ourselves from the Covid-19 attack. So don’t be afraid of vaccines. Let’s support the government through the Pedulilindungi program,” he said.
East Java, continued Gatot, has experienced a decline in levels. In addition to Lamongan which is a level 1 area, there are a number of areas in East Java that have also experienced changes in the PPKM level. Level 2 increased by 16 regions, level 3 recorded 19 regions and level 4 only 2 regions.
“Lamongan is the first area to have level 1 status. Pasuruan itself has entered level 2. For that, let’s increase the tourism sector which will help the community’s economy,” he concluded.
