KORLANTAS POLRI – Serdang Bedagai Police Traffic Unit held a health service in the context of the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence at the Sergai Police Satlantas Tangguh Post in Sei Sei Rampah, Monday (16/8/2021).
This health service is also carried out to increase discipline and socialization of corona virus prevention to motorists and the public who carry out activities and school children who are on holiday.
The Sergai Police Chief, AKBP Robin Simatupang through the Sergai Police Traffic Head, AKP Agung Basuni, said that this health service was also carried out by examining antigen swabs, distributing masks and distributing red and white flags in celebration of the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.
“The purpose of this activity is to invite the public to appreciate and respect the services of the heroes who have fought for the independence of the Indonesian nation,” said AKP Agung Basuni.
Agung also conveyed the importance of health protocols by implementing the 5 M such as wearing masks, maintaining a safe distance, staying away from crowds and washing hands with soap in running water and limiting mobility.
“We also invite motorists and the surrounding community to foster a sense of shared destiny in welcoming the 76th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia and to become a Pioneer of Anti-Covid 19,” said AKP Agung Basuni.
This health service also distributes red and white flags to motorists who pass in front of the Satlantas Tangguh Post, distributes masks and Vitamin C to motorists who do not wear masks and carries out public addresses and appeals for health protocols.
“In the health service, the Sergai Police Satlantas carried out antigen swab as many as 28 people,” said the Head of Traffic.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Tebingtinggi Branch of the Raharja Service, Sumariyadi, thanked the Sergai Police Traffic Unit for their cooperation in the framework of the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.
