Liputan6.com, Jakarta Acceleration of vaccination for the community continues to be promoted by various layers. This time it came from the workers.
The Confederation of All Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPSI) as the largest labor confederation in the country in synergy with the Indonesian National Police (Polri) held free Covid-19 vaccinations for thousands of workers.
Present directly at the location to observe the vaccination process, the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo accompanied by KSPSI President Andi Gani Nena Wea.
With the theme of the National Police’s Precision Vaccination activity in synergy with the KSPSI DPP, Andi Gani said, the target target for vaccine recipients in Tangerang was 10 thousand workers.
Andi Gani, who is also the leader of the ASEAN Labor Confederation, explained that this free vaccine is a form of KSPSI and Polri’s commitment to protect workers and their families, as well as support the government’s efforts in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic
“I would like to thank the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo for his extraordinary attention to the safety and health of workers,” he said.
Andi Gani emphasized that vaccines are an important part to do for workers. Because, to continue to inspire work enthusiasm during the Covid-19 pandemic, workers must always be in a healthy state without being exposed to Corona.
He hopes that free vaccinations for workers can encourage the formation of communal immunity. “Especially for workers and their families so that Indonesia can soon be free from the pandemic and the economy will recover,” he said.
