Jakarta, CNN Indonesia — Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria ensures that workers in essential and critical sectors who already have a Worker Registration Certificate (STRP) do not need to reapply. STRP as a condition for workers to enter Jakarta remains valid until July 25 in accordance with the extension of the PPKM Level 4.
“Essential and critical sector workers who already have a STRP with a validity period of up to July 20, 2021, do not need to re-apply the STRP,” said Riza in the Instagram account @arizapatria, Wednesday (21/7).
STRP is a policy of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in supporting Emergency PPKM. STRP must be pocketed by workers in essential and critical sectors who wish to enter Jakarta.
Riza emphasized that the STRP is automatically renewed with a validity period during the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) during the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, for health workers (nakes), civil servants, and TNI/Polri who work in Jakarta, they do not need STRP. Health workers only need to show a practice permit (SIP) to officers in the field.
Riza said that the applicant can re-download the STRP on the account used when submitting collectively by the company and/or show the QR Code listed on the previous STRP to the officer.
Riza hopes that the STRP owner will still carry a Covid-19 vaccine certificate. For those who have not been vaccinated, they can make a statement that they will participate in the Covid-19 vaccination, which is signed on a seal.
The government decided to extend the PPKM in Java-Bali and outside the region until July 25, 2021. The extension was carried out after the government assessed that the spike in Covid-19 cases had not decreased significantly.
Previously, the term Emergency PPKM from July 3 to 20 was used, now the government uses the term PPKM Level 4 to July 25.
President Joko Widodo said the government would gradually begin to open the rules during the Emergency PPKM, if on July 26 the Covid-19 cases in Indonesia began to subside.
