On the fourth day of the Emergency PPKM’s implementation in East Java, the police established a complaint hotline. There are three hotline telephone services available, one for oxygen cylinder scarcity, one for false news, and one for high medicine pricing.
The Tipidter Sub-Directorate may be reached at 0822 3278 1177 for oxygen cylinder shortages, while the Cyber Sub-Directorate can be reached at 0811 997 1996 for false news, and the Indagsi Sub-Directorate can be reached at 0813 3333 9025 for costly drug pricing.
“Starting today, the Ditreskrimsus opens a hotline service for three public complaints regarding reports of oxygen cylinder scarcity, hoaxes, and expensive drug prices above the highest retail price,” said East Java Police Head of Public Relations, Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko, to detikcom on Tuesday (6/06/2020). 7/2021).
Apart from establishing a hotline, Gatot stated that his party will also monitor swab test letters and community vaccines. East Java Police have organized a Law Enforcement Task Force for this purpose (Gakkum).
