Kediri – Kediri City Police continue to remind residents of the dangers of COVID-19 that still threatens. They held an outreach by bringing coffins and pocong dolls.
In the socialization event held by the Kediri City Police Traffic Police, there were also two millennials. The goal is to attract more public attention.
“The active socialization of health protocols in the Kediri Kota Polres area by presenting a millennial human and a pocong statue, it is intended that the public can focus more on seeing and hearing what the members of the Kediri City Police Traffic Unit say,” said Head of Sub-Department of Kediri City Police, AKP Arpan, Friday (21 5/2021).
“Presenting something unique will attract people’s attention, so that the delivery of health protocol socialization can be better understood,” he added.
He hopes that through this socialization, people, especially in Kediri City, can continue to comply with the health protocols set by the government.
During the socialization, officers reminded the public to always use masks, keep their distance and always wash their hands with soap in accordance with the health protocols set by the government.
“We carry out this activity only to save the people, nation and state of Indonesia from the spread of COVID-19,” added Arpan.
During the socialization, justisi operation and antigen test were also carried out for motorists with a police number outside Kediri.
“In addition to socialization, we together with the TNI, Polri and Satpol PP of Kediri City, assisted by the Bhayangkara Hospital Team of Kediri City, conducted an antigen test for drivers outside the city, in anticipation of the spread of COVID-19,” said Head of Dikyasa Ipda Isdiyat.
In addition to giving appeals, officers also distributed masks to people who were caught not wearing masks.
