Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya and its staff have conducted antigen swab tests on 15,024 travelers who returned to the DKI Jakarta area.
The test was conducted on 16-17 May 2021.
“The number of non-reactive ones is around 14,940 people,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Sr. Comr. Yusri Yunus in his office, Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Meanwhile, 84 other reactive people, said Yusri given further action. A total of 46 people were asked to undergo independent isolation and 33 people were referred to the Covid-19 Emergency Hospital, Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Jakarta.
“And there are five other references,” said Yusri.
Yusri explained that another reference was made because he saw the homecoming’s identity card or KTP. For example, Tangerang residents who are caught by random and reactive antigen swab tests will be asked to undergo independent isolation or be treated in a hospital according to their domicile.
Yusri said the antigen swab test for travelers on the backflow would continue to be carried out. The peak of the backflow itself is predicted to take place on May 21-22.
