Jakarta – The National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo issued a telegram (TR) on December 10, 2021. The TR contains 18 instructions from the National Police Chief to his staff regarding the supervision of Christmas 2021 and New Year (Nataru) 2022 activities.
“The Chief of Police has sent a telegram on December 10, 2021 regarding the Instructions of the Chief of Police regarding the Rules of Conduct for Nataru Activities. In the context of preventing and controlling COVID-19 during Christmas and New Year’s 2022,” Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, told reporters at the National Police Headquarters, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday (12/22/2021).
In addition, Ramadhan said the telegram was addressed to all Heads of Regional Work Units (Kasatwil) at the Polda and Polres levels.
“During the Nataru period, in the context of preventing and controlling Covid-19, the instructions of the Chief of Police in a telegram were conveyed to all Kasatwil Polda and Polres,” said Ramadhan.
The following are 18 instructions in the National Police Chief’s telegram to his staff regarding Nataru’s activities on December 10, 2021:
1. In Christmas worship activities and New Year’s celebrations, keep following the instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 66 of 2021 which regulates the level of PPKM to be implemented in their respective regions.
2. Increase the use of the PeduliLindung application in public places.
3. Coordinate with the COVID-19 Task Force to conduct random antigen tests in public places.
4. Ensure strict implementation of health protocols (prokes).
5. Strengthen PPKM at the RT and RW levels in the homecoming and return destinations.
6. Prepare a centralized isolation area in the homecoming destination and return destination.
7. Synergistic socialization with all stakeholders so that the community obeys the prokes.
8. Socialization and public appeal not to go home to Nataru unless it is urgent.
9. There is no blocking on the flow of going back and forth or backflow, establishing security posts and service posts by installing Care Protect barcodes.
10. Rules for travelers using transportation modes follow the rules that have been set by the Ministry of Transportation and the latest COVID-19 Task Force.
11. Regulating the flow of inbound travelers from abroad in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Transportation.
12. Placing vaccine booth posts at the location of public facilities.
13. Accelerate the achievement of vaccination targets in their respective regions.
14. Intense coordination with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (forkompinda) and other stakeholders to work together to make efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
15. Limiting community activities on December 24, 2021 – January 2, 2022, including arts, culture and sports activities that have the potential to cause COVID-19 transmission.
16. Prohibiting new year’s parades and processions, both open and closed, which have the potential to cause crowds.
17. Odd-even implementation at tourist attractions and limiting the number of visitors to a maximum of 75 percent of the total capacity.
18. All Kasatwil immediately prepare the implementation of KRYD or routine activities that are enhanced on 17 – 23 December and 3 – 9 January 2022 with a focus on these activities.
