In order to help the government suppress the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic and make a real contribution to society, the Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) joined forces with the Bali Police and PT. Islamic Sharia payment institutions conducted a vaccination campaign against the community, especially in Denpasar City.
With the theme “NU Peduli Bali Vincination with the Bali Police”, the types of vaccines injected are Sinovac 1, 2 and Astrazeneca 2 vaccines. The event will start on Wednesday and Thursday 29th.
It will be divided into two stages, with a total of 1,000 participants. As of September 30, 2021, 500 participants will participate annually. The place is in the PWNU Bali Building, Jalan Pura Demak Barat, Denpasar.
On this occasion, H. Andul Azis, S.Pd.I, Chairman of PWNU Bali said that mass vaccination is our effort to fight COVID-19.
“Covid is not only the responsibility of the government, but also the responsibility of all levels of society, including organizations and other aspects. We are all trying to live as usual,” he explained.
The chairman of PWNU Bali expressed his gratitude for the synergy of the Bali Police and the support of PT SPS Hijrah Masjid which contributed to the success of the vaccination campaign. “Thank you for your commitment with the Bali Police.
This plan is neither the first nor the last. I hope to continue to other branches. Likewise with the Hijarah Mosque which fully supports us. We hope our humanitarian mission goes well. you’re welcome.” he said.
Still at the same time and opportunity, the Director of Business and Development of PT. Sharia payment agent Bakti Mudiazko stated that the vaccination campaign was carried out because it wanted to help Indonesia and the local government, especially the Balinese, to jointly suppress the spread of the Covid-19 virus and complete the vaccination.
“Through the first and not the last activity that we did today, at least we hope to immediately suppress and end the spread of the Covid-19 virus through vaccination activities. Resolving the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the future,” he concluded.
