On Monday, July 26, 2021, at the SPN Polda Papua Field, an Education Opening Ceremony for the Establishment of the National Police NCO T.A 2021 SPN Polda Papua was held.
The activity was led by the Papuan Police Chief Inspector General of Police, Mathius D. Fakhiri, S.I.K., and attended by Papuan Regional Police Irwasda Kombes Pol Alfred Papare, S.I.K., Papuan Police Chief Official, and invited guests.
The Kalemdiklat Polri in his mandate read by the Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Pol Mathius D. Fakhiri, S.I.K, conveyed that there was a specificity in this 2021 Diktukba,
“We need to understand that education for the formation of the National Police NCO this year has several specificities in its implementation, namely:
1. Education is carried out in a COVID-19 pandemic situation. It is carried out face-to-face with strict security measures and adequate campus facilities as well as preventing the transmission of covid19. On-campus education is carried out in order to fulfill the expected competencies of the NCO graduates.
2. This year’s Diktukba specifically uses the Precision curriculum.
Through strengthening the competence of human literacy, data literacy, and technological literacy, it is hoped that it can provide added value to the ability of the Indonesian National Police to be superior, creative, and innovative. Because the true human resources of the police are the main tool and strength of the police.
3. This year’s NCO education is held simultaneously with regular education with ABPN funding sources and grant education with funding sources from the APBD. There are 10,650 regular serdiks and 4,636 serdiks from grant sources originating from the provinces of Papua, West Papua, South Kalimantan, South Sumatra, Babylon, and East Java.
So the number becomes 15,286 serdiks, consisting of 14,609 men and 677 women, which will last for the next 5 (five) months. This education will be held in 36 Polri Satdik, consisting of 31 SPNs throughout Indonesia; Sepolwan, Pusdik Brimob, Sabhara, Binmas, and Polair.
Regular and grant students will be educated together, where grant students will be distributed in 31 Satdik according to the capacity of the campus. “
In his mandate, Inspector General Mathius also conveyed 8 priority programs for the transformation of Polri’s education, namely:
1. Realizing a healthy campus, a campus that is ready for health care and campus health facilities and healthy personnel.
2. Creating a safe campus. campus with maximum security. It has excellent plant protection, strong guarding, a deterrent effect and a daunting effect.
3. Realizing the campus as a center of excellence. The Campus as a reference center for literature and science; green, clean and beautiful campus references; cultural references and Police Traditions
4. Make campus a favorite place and achievement. Campuses are supported by Binkar rules that favor girls, and are filled with outstanding personnel who are and will be promoted.
5.Building a campus with a contemporary curriculum and responding to task challenges, 6.Building a campus with a strong structure,
7. Build a national campus. Carry out integration education of the TNI and Polri in all types and levels of education.
8. Realizing inclusive higher education in police science for mankind.
