Pekanbaru – In the spirit of commemorating Pancasila Day, which falls on June 1, Wilsriza, Manager of PT PLN (Persero) Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Pekanbaru, strengthened strategic synergy with the Pekanbaru City Government through a coordination meeting held on Tuesday (May 27, 2025) at the Pekanbaru Mayor’s Official Residence on Ahmad Yani Street.
The visit was warmly welcomed by Mayor of Pekanbaru, H. Agung Nugroho, SE, MM, along with Acting Head of the Pekanbaru City Revenue Agency, T. Denny Muharpan, SH, MH.
As a state-owned enterprise, PLN not only carries the mandate of providing electricity but also serves as a driving force for national development.
The spirit of Pancasila is manifested through cross-sector collaboration aimed at public benefit and strengthening basic services such as electricity.
“PLN hopes this meeting serves as a foundation for stronger and continuous coordination, delivering more reliable and high-quality electricity, while also supporting the creation of a resilient and competitive city and increasing Regional Original Revenue (PAD),” said Wilsriza.
PLN also continues its efforts to educate the public on the importance of paying electricity bills on time as a form of support for development.
“The commemoration of Pancasila Day is a reflective moment to affirm PLN’s role in nation-building through concrete actions and strong synergy with all stakeholders,” he added.
At the same event, Mayor Agung Nugroho expressed appreciation for and welcomed PLN’s commitment, stating the city’s readiness to continue collaborating to provide reliable and high-quality electricity.
“We thank and truly appreciate PLN’s attention and concrete steps. The Pekanbaru City Government is fully committed to continuing this collaboration in delivering more reliable and high-quality electricity for all residents,” he said.
“We also urge citizens to pay their electricity bills on time to support the development of Pekanbaru City,” Agung concluded.
