Jakarta — The Director General of Teachers, Education Personnel, and Teacher Education at the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Dirjen GTKPG Kemendikdasmen), Nunuk Suryani, has urged participants of the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program not to be tempted by offers promising certification in exchange for money.
“Please be cautious, everyone. Any promise related to early selection or prioritization that requires payment is completely false,” Nunuk emphasized during an online broadcast titled Implementation of the 2025 PPG Program for Specific Teachers, held in Jakarta on Thursday (May 8).
Nunuk also reminded participants to go through each stage of the PPG process with honesty and integrity. She discouraged any form of cheating, affirming that the certification exam has a high pass rate for those who are committed.
“The PPG pass rate is close to 99 percent. I believe that you all have enough experience to successfully complete the PPG Participant Competency Test (UKPPPG). If you approach each stage sincerely, I’m confident you will pass. So rely on your own abilities,” she said.
She further stressed that the ministry has implemented a certification system with high accountability, capable of detecting any form of cheating. Such violations, she warned, could lead to participants being disqualified from receiving their certification.
For context, a total of 325,000 teachers have passed the administrative selection and are eligible to participate in the PPG certification process for Specific Teachers. Notification of their status as participants will be sent via their individual accounts on the Sustainable Professional Development Management Information System (SIMPKB).
