JAKARTA — The government has confirmed that the disbursement of the 13th salary for civil servants (ASN), retirees, and allowance recipients will begin in June 2025. This policy aims to support economic needs ahead of the new academic year.
The policy is stipulated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 11 of 2025, which was signed by President Prabowo Subianto. The 13th salary is part of the annual additional income alongside the religious holiday allowance (THR).
A total of 9.4 million people—including central and regional civil servants, government employees under work agreements (PPPK), judges, members of the military (TNI) and police (Polri), and retirees—will benefit from this policy.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati stated that the 13th salary must be disbursed no later than July 2025, as regulated in Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 23 of 2025.
“All institutions have until the end of July to complete the disbursement process,” said Sri Mulyani in her statement.
Salary Amount and Components
The 13th salary consists of four main components: basic salary, family allowance, food allowance, and performance allowance or additional income for active civil servants. For central government ASN, judges, TNI soldiers, and Polri members, the performance allowance is granted at 100%.
Meanwhile, regional civil servants receive similar components, but the amount is adjusted according to each region’s financial capacity. For retirees, the 13th salary only includes the monthly pension amount based on their last rank.
The government has also adjusted the 13th salary amount this year with a 12% increase, as stipulated in PP Number 8 of 2025. Below is the estimated 13th salary amount by rank group:

Disbursement and Verification
For retirees, the 13th salary will be distributed directly to their bank accounts by PT Taspen. The government urges all recipients to ensure that their registered bank account numbers are active to avoid disbursement issues.
The disbursement status can be checked via digital banking services or directly at bank branches. Retirees can also verify their status at the nearest Taspen office.
