For more than a week, booster vaccinations for Covid-19 are encouraged. The Tangerang City Government claims that there have been 12,328 residents who have received booster vaccines, whether they are the elderly, public servants or the general public.
This figure consists of 6,742 elderly, 669 vulnerable people and the expansion of the target starting on Monday, January 17, 2022, namely the category of public workers which now has 4,917 people.
The Head of the Health Service (Dinkes), Dini Anggraeni revealed, vaccinations were carried out non-stop at Covid-19 vaccination booths in 38 health centers, 104 sub-districts, crowd centers, to the Tangerang City Puspem for the category of public service officers.
“To continue to improve vaccination achievements, a number of health centers have also dispatched door to door vaccination teams to one or two areas where there are quite a lot of elderly people. This makes it faster, easier and more comfortable for our parents to participate in this three-dose vaccination,” said Dini on Thursday (January 20, 2022).
