The South Sumatra Police, in collaboration with the Resort Police, have effectively identified 45 suspects in 36 narcotics cases. This will take place over the course of a week in the fourth week of September 2021.
Kombes Pol Supriadi, the Head of Public Relations for the South Sumatra Police, stated that his officers did not stop exposing cases in order to narrow the drug network in South Sumatra.
“Although we have arrested dozens of people related to drug problems, we will not stop and continue to disclose,” said the South Sumatra Police’s Head of Public Relations on Monday (27/9/21). “Our members have succeeded in securing 45 suspects in 36 cases that were successfully revealed in this third week,” he added.
For the evidence seized this week, which included 1.3 kilograms (kg) of crystal methamphetamine, 966.07 grams of marijuana, and 115 ecstasy tablets, which were taken from 45 individuals.
“Through exposing situations that our members worked on with Polrestabes and Polres ranks, we were able to save 9,324 lives of the younger generation,” said the South Sumatra Police’s Head of Public Relations.
There are no notable cases this week, and only the OKI Police and Empat Lawang have reported no cases in the fourth week.
