The head of the Banten Police Headquarters headed to Anyer beach and its surroundings in an effort to anticipate the surge of tourists coming in for the weekend.
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police said, in order to support the provisions for the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) according to the Minister of Home Affairs No. 38 of 2021 regarding tourist attractions with a maximum capacity of 25%, in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Banten Police will block vehicles to tourist sites in Anyar Beach and Carita.
“Anyer Beach is a target for the community to be chosen as a tourist spot on weekends. Therefore, to prevent crowds that cause clusters, the Banten Police have implemented restrictions with a maximum capacity of 25%.
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police said that the Banten Police carried out a blocking pattern if there had been a buildup of 25%.
“If it is observed that there has been a buildup of 25%, the officers will divert the flow by blocking and directing them to alternative roads,” he said, Saturday (4/9/21).
