JAKARTA – The joint TNI-Polri Nemangkawi Task Force was involved in a shootout with one of the armed criminal group (KKB) terrorist commanders, Lesmin Waker killed in Wuloni, Puncak Regency, Papua. Lesmin Waker is one of the shooters of Bharada Komang, a member of the Nemangkawi Task Force who was killed some time ago.
“That the chase will continue to be carried out by TNI Polri personnel after the control of Camp Wuloni,” said Head of the Nemangkawi Operation Public Relations Task Force, Kombes Iqbal Al Qudussy in a written statement on Thursday (13/5/2021).
Lesmin Waker is known as the Commander of the Pintu Angin Telenggen Group. Kampung Wuloni is suspected of being one of the hiding places for the Lekagak Telenggen terrorist group.
“This success began with a firefight on Wednesday (12/5) at 07.25 WIT with the KKB in Wuloni Village led by Lerimayu Telenggen,” he said.
It said 2 KKB died in the shootout. Bharatu (Posthumously) I Komang Wira Natha died after being shot by KKB at Lumawi Headquarters, Makki Village, North Ilaga District, Puncak Regency.
