Jakarta – In the last week, the increase in cases of the Corona COVID-19 virus in Indonesia seems to be sloping and even tends to fall. But watch out, the number of tests done is dropping too!
It was recorded that on Tuesday (16/2/2021), there were 28,167 specimens and 10,029 confirmed cases were confirmed. With only 26,156 people being examined, the daily positive rate is 38.34 percent.
This figure is also one of the highest records since the pandemic took place. The previous record was recorded on Sunday (31/1/2021) with 36.1 percent.
Meanwhile, cumulatively, Indonesia’s COVID-19 positivity rate is currently at 18.4 percent. The details are 1,233,959 accumulative positive cases from a total of 6,721,920 people examined.
The World Health Organization WHO sets the ideal positivity rate not to exceed 5 percent. This means that the current positivity rate is still far from the WHO standard.
