JAKARTA – Police and TNI received appreciation from the Cathedral Church. This appreciation came, because it was considered successful in securing Christmas worship at the Cathedral Church, Jakarta, on Friday (12/24/2021) and Saturday (12/25/2021).
The head of the Cathedral Church, Father Hani, immediately went to the security post. Father Hani’s arrival was received by the Kapolsek Sawah Besar, AKP Maulana Mukarom.
Romo Hani appreciated the ranks of the Central Jakarta Metro Police and the TNI, especially the Sawah Besar Sector Police and the Koramil for providing security. So that the 2021 Christmas worship will run smoothly, safely, and there will be no disturbance from the social security and order.
“We express our gratitude to the ranks of the Police and TNI who have provided security at the Cathedral Church,” said Father Hani.
Meanwhile, Sawah Besar Police Chief AKP Maulana Mukarom continued, the security carried out was the responsibility of his party together with the TNI.
So that the worship process from Friday night to Saturday night there is no concern of security disturbances. “Until tonight, everything is conducive, there are no disturbances and everyone is praying solemnly and quietly,” he said.
Maulana also appreciated the church, for implementing health protocols properly.
Starting from setting up a hand washing place, checking the temperature to the PeduliLindung barcode.
“Then the distance is also adjusted so that there are no crowds, we thank you for implementing the prokes well,” he concluded.
