The pandemic is not yet gone, and the public is urged to take health precautions

The Batang Regency COVID-19 Task Force consisting of joint TNI-Polri personnel, Satpol PP routinely holds Yustisi Operations to discipline the public to use masks in an effort to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.

The routine operations are carried out at several strategic points such as on Jalan Protocol in Batang, Traditional Markets and tourist attractions in Batang.

One by one, people who pass by without wearing masks are stopped by officers and then educated while distributing masks for free. They are also still advised to apply health protocols.

Batang Police Chief AKBP Edwin Louis Sengka through the Head of Operations Kompol Raharja said that judicial operations were carried out to increase community discipline regarding the importance of complying with health protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Thank God, the number of COVID-19 spreads in Batang Regency has decreased day by day. Since the pandemic is not over yet, let’s get used to wearing masks when we are outside the home,” said Commissioner of Police Raharja when met on Sunday (5/9/2021).

He hoped that the members of the COVID-19 Task Force would not slack off in educating the public about the importance of implementing health protocols.

“In order to continue to provide education to the community in a manner that is polite, humane but still firm,” he explained.
