The Banten Police’s Ditpolairud seized a total of 9832 lobster seeds

The Polairud Directorate of the Banten Police managed to thwart an attempt to illegally smuggle lobster seeds or fry.

The suspect BN (49) is taking or buying clear lobster seeds from fishermen in Binuangeun. After receiving thousands of lobster seeds, they are packaged in clear plastic bags which contain approximately 200 lobster seeds per plastic bag to deceive the officers. The clear plastic inside contains lobster seeds wrapped in sacks, then transported by motorbike and sent to collectors in the Pelabuhan Ratu district. Sukabumi Prov. West Java.

“Meanwhile, suspect BN (49) will be charged with Article 92 in conjunction with Article 26 paragraph (1) of RI Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation, which amends UURI No. 45 of 2009 on amendments to Law No. 31 of 2004 concerning Fisheries in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code,” said the Banten Police’s Dirpolairud.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Akbp Shinto Silitonga, said that the Banten Police continued to take police actions in order to anticipate crimes in the country.

What is certain is that the Ditpolairud of the Banten Police continues to carry out law enforcement efforts to prevent criminal activities in the country, in order to create a sense of security, peace and tranquility in the midst of society.
