Riau Police Academy Alumni Holds Social Assistance “Sharing for the Nation”, Distributes 556 Food Packages

The 1992 Police Academy graduates spread blessings, in the form of social assistance (Bansos) to people in need, in the midst of the economic crush of the Covid-19 pandemic.

A quick move was made by the 1992 Police Academy Alumni Pratisara Wirya from the Riau Regional Police, following the instructions of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to Akpol alumni in implementing social assistance to the community. Not only Buyung who was splashed with blessings, even construction workers, vegetable sellers, tire repairers, scavengers and traders of salak wagon fruit were also the same. “Thank God, it’s noon, the sales haven’t been sold. Suddenly, all of them were bought up by the police, and they were also given basic necessities. We pray that the police will be more blessed, always healthy, “said Haru Farida (59 years) who depends on her life from trading vegetables and salak fruit.

The Head of Public Relations of the Riau Police, Kombes Sunarto, who is also listed as an Alumni of the 1992 Police, revealed that the distribution of basic necessities marked 29 years of service to the Police Force 92, intended to help people affected by Covid-19 in Riau, especially in Pekanbaru City.

“As a form of gratitude for the opportunity of 29 years of service, we are alumni of the 1992 Police Academy Battalion Pratisara Wirya who served in Riau, with the permission of the Kapolda today to distribute 556 food packages to residents in need, especially in the midst of community conditions that are currently experiencing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. -19, our fellow countrymen agreed to do something for the community,” he said.

This aid package is distributed to communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic situation and the impact of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), where Pekanbaru is at level 4, which of course has an impact on daily income which has decreased.
