Polda Metro Jaya Succeeds in Arresting Perpetuators of Counterfeiters of PCR Test Results

The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya has managed to arrest a woman with the initials FN who is the perpetrator of counterfeiting fake PCR results that has been operating since June 2021. From the crime she committed, the suspect managed to make a profit of almost 11 million rupiah.

“The perpetrator sold tickets and faked PCR results for IDR 700,000. He was able to prepare PCR without going through a test. Later it came out. With an additional cost of fake PCR of IDR 700,000. So plane tickets plus fake PCR, “explained the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya.

“He ordered Rp. 300-400,000, then there was a profit of Rp. 300-400 which he received for PCR,” explained the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya.

The Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya emphasized to the public not to use fake PCR swab letters to travel or under any conditions. Because this can endanger the safety of many people’s lives.

“Because the impact is very dangerous. The customer can fly complete with PCR, which results are negative without being tested. Since he was not tested, it is possible that he could be positive and infect others, “explained the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya.

For his actions, FN was charged with Articles 35 and 51 of the ITE Law No. 19 of 2016 on Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008, and Article 263 of the Criminal Code.
