In a press conference held at the Banjar Police Headquarters, the Banjar Police Chief said that his party managed to secure thousands of bottles of liquor of various brands and types.

“Yes, this evening we were together with the Sat Narcotics Personnel, Criminal Investigation Unit, Sat Sabhara, and assisted also from the West Java Regional Police Mobile Brigade Personnel to carry out a copyright operation by raiding places that sell liquor, Alhamdulillah, 1236 bottles of various types were successfully secured.” , said the Banjar Police Chief.

“For the first place there are 76 boxes while in the second place 27 boxes total 103 boxes”, continued the Banjar Police Chief.

Still in the press conference, the Head of the Banjar Police said that the illegal items were secured from the perpetrators, namely Brothers S and F, with the modus operandi of deliberately distributing, storing, sending, and hoarding alcoholic drinks.

“The article that has been violated is the Banjar City Regional Regulation number 4 of 2009”, said the Banjar Police Chief.

Furthermore, the Banjar Police Chief said that the raid was carried out to create conditions ahead of the Eid al-Fitr celebration so that the situation in the City of Banjar remained in a conducive state.

“In addition, this raid activity anticipates cases of people dying from alcoholic drinks,” said the Banjar Police Chief.

In the press conference, the Banjar Police Chief together with the Mayor of Banjar, Deputy Mayor of Banjar, and Forkopimda Kota Banjar and was attended by colleagues from the media crew. (MA)
